Christmas Family Activities

Ever wondered how your letter to Santa makes its way from your local post box to the North Pole?

Well here’s your chance to find out! For the first time, Santa will meet children inside the most historical building in the heart of Dublin. Santa at GPO Witness History offers you the only behind the scenes look at how those special letters begin their journey from The Post Office to the North Pole.

Journey through this magical experience of discovery, meet Santa’s Postman and the Elves and visit Santa in his secret grotto hidden in the GPO Courtyard.

Don’t miss your chance to witness this fantastic Santa experience!

The Journey

The Postman is Santa’s trusted partner when it comes to looking after his letters.

He has a top secret device called a ClausOptic Cable which has never been seen by anyone other than Santa and his Elves. It’s responsible for sending the letters from every child in Ireland straight to The North Pole.

What is The ClausOptic Cable?

A vacuum type machine that suctions up all the letters and sends them via a magical cable to The North Pole.

Santa’s Postman will tell the story of the entire letter posting process, the ClausOptic Cable itself, how it works and will even demonstrate it to the children and their families.
